Smiles Abound During Easter Activities
April 2025
Our ever-creative Activities Team coordinated several special activities intended to bring joy and excitement to our Residents leading up to Easter.
Nostalgic photos, music and trivia questions elicited fond memories during an Easter-themed session of Memory Lane on April 8. Participants reminisced about their family Easter traditions and eagerly offered answers to trivia questions about everything from the Easter story to famous bunnies.
Then on April 15, we literally rolled the dice in our fun-filled Bunny Races. Residents tossed large, soft dice to advance their bunnies along the “bunny trail.” Betty Oberst and Dennis Jones proved to be the best at the “bunny hop.”
Later in the week, we colored Easter eggs, and those who wished to could attend a full schedule of spiritual gatherings in our main chapel. We also enjoyed not one, but two visits from the Easter Bunny! The bunny from Monarch Hospice made hopped around our halls on Good Friday. Then on Easter Monday, Mary Pegg, daughter of Loraine Poslusny, brought the bunny to life with a feminine touch for our luncheon celebration.
