The School Sisters of St. Francis coordinate Mass each Sunday morning in our Our Lady of the Angels Chapel. Family members are welcome to accompany Residents to the service.

June Crafts Workshop
Jean Armany, daughter-in-law, of former Resident Alice Armany, will guide our Residents in making a special May-themed crafts project. We will gather at the right side of the Dining Room beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 15. All supplies will be provided.

Residents are invited to the Marian Hall 1st-Floor Lounge each Sunday at 1 p.m. for Classical Music Appreciation. During these weekly afternoon gatherings, our friend Sam Rice shares classical music selections and intriguing information about the composers and their work. Things get pretty competitive when we gather in the Marian Hall Second-Floor Lounge each Wednesday afternoon for Wii Bowling. Residents use a motion-activated controller to play virtual games of bowling on our Wii video game system. Not only do we have a blast, but it’s also good exercise!

Spring Serenade
With the popularity of Sam Rice’s weekly Classical Music Appreciation sessions, he has added a special offering for spring. In these weekly Spring Serenade gatherings, Sam will introduce us to more mellow, impressionistic classical pieces. The music is both relaxing and nurturing for the brain. Please join us.

Wellness Clinic
Each month, our Residents can take part in an onsite Wellness Clinic, during which their blood pressure, weight, gait and posture are evaluated.

Show Tunes Concert by the ICTUS Choir
Our main chapel will be filled with the sounds of our favorite show tunes when the ICTUS Choir — made up of volunteer vocalists from the nearby towns of Crafton, Ingram and Thornburg — stops by to perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 20. Residents, employees and family members are welcome to join us for this one-hour program of popular music.

Summer Picnic & Staff Olympics
Summer is here, and it's time to celebrate! That's why we are hosting our fourth annual summer event, featuring our Hilltop Olympics and a family picnic outdoors near our main entrance. Employees (all shifts) and Residents are cordially invited to join us on Thursday, July 17 (raindate is Friday, July 18). The food and fun will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run into the afternoon.
Residents may invite up to three guests. The event is free for employees and Residents and $5 for guests (including lunch). Enjoy picnic fare, including hot dogs and hamburgers, while watching our staff square off in fun, friendly competitions. Among the events will be the popular Wheelchair Race, followed by some other entertaining outdoor games. Family members are welcome to participate in the Olympics, as well.
The RSVP deadline is July 7. Residents are automatically RSVP'd to the event, as it will include our lunchtime meal for the day. Employees and family members should RSVP at the Reception Desk by July 7. The $5 guest fee may be paid by cash or check at the Reception Desk.
The event will be held entirely outdoors. Please dress accordingly, including sunscreen.

Father’s Day Luncheon
Let’s celebrate the dads among us and the dads who raised us! Our Residents will be treated to a special meal, treats and live music for our combined Father’s Day Celebration and June Birthday Party over lunch on Friday, June 13. Live entertainment will be provided by musician Gary Stewart. Please note that this will be the main meal for the day, and dinnertime will feature a lighter menu.
