We will gather in the Marian Hall second-floor lounge to play some of our favorite card games. Join us each Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. in the Marian Hall 2nd-Floor Lounge.

Our Activities Team transform our lounges into beauty salons on Friday afternoons, treating Residents to hand massages and manicures, while our favorite music plays.

As our nation observes the 25th anniversary of 9/11, our friends and volunteer Sam Rice will lead a special program of meditative music and uplifting scripture at 1 p.m. this Friday, September 11, in our Main Chapel. Family members and employees are welcome to join our Residents for this solemn gathering commemorating the tragic events of September 11, 2001. No RSVP is necessary.

As the Steelers get ready to kick off their 2026 football season, we’ll kick off our second annual Steelers Spirit Weekend with a lunchtime pep rally filled with music, trivia and treats. We will have a special tailgate-inspired menu featuring Isaly’s Chipped Ham BBQ sandwiches, kielbasa and kraut, pierogies with butter and onions, zucchini fries, and I.C. Light. You never know … a special guest might even stop by! Be sure to wear your black and gold gear and brush up on your Steelers Polka!

Family members and friends are welcome to attend. Guest meal tickets are $10 each and are available at the Mt. Assisi Place Reception Desk between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Cash and checks are accepted (we are not able to accept payment online). Please click the button below to RSVP by September 8. Then stop by our Reception Desk to purchase your guest ticket(s) any time prior to the event (no payments can be accepted in the Dining Room).

Sister Georgette Dublino visits Mt. Assisi Place each Tuesday to share scripture, music and reflection with our Residents who wish to deepen their spirituality. All are welcome.

In celebration of Labor Day, Elaine Chegas will lead the Residents of Antonia Hall in a sing-along of favorite patriotic tunes. Lyric booklets will be provided. We will gather in the AH Activity Lounge at 3 p.m.

The School Sisters of St. Francis coordinate Mass each Sunday morning in our Our Lady of the Angels Chapel. Family members are welcome to accompany Residents to the service.

The School Sisters of St. Francis will coordinate a special Saturday morning Mass in observance of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. All are welcome to join us in the Main Chapel at 10 a.m.

We’ll keep the good times rolling with our August Birthday Bash over lunch (11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.) on Friday, August 14, in the dining room. This month will feature musical entertainment by a steel drummer.

Last summer, we were blessed to be a host site for Pray & Picnic in the Park, an outdoor mass and meal with the parishioners of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. The congregation will return to our grounds this year for an evening mass and picnic on Thursday, August 6. Please save the date and plan to join us. We will share more details in the coming weeks.

Each month, our Residents can take part in an onsite Wellness Clinic, during which their blood pressure, weight, gait and posture are evaluated.

The lunchtime meal on Saturday, July 4, will feature a picnic-style menu in honor of Independence Day. Residents will enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, corn on the cob, potato salad, watermelon, and fruit pies. Guests are welcome to join us with advance purchase of a $10 meal ticket from the Reception Desk (cash and checks accepted).
