Tour FAQs

How long does a tour take?
Please set aside an hour to visit with us so we have time to show you around and to sit and discuss your family’s needs. We will show you our different room types and, if appropriate, introduce you to some of our staff members. If you’d like, we can discuss costs and complete an application for admission while you’re here.

Who should attend the tour?
You may come alone, with a few family members, and with or without the potential Resident. Everyone attending the tour should wear a face covering for the protection of our Residents. You’ll also be asked to have your temperature taken during the brief sign-in process.

Where is Mt. Assisi Place located?
Our GPS address is 1515 Quaill Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15202. We are located at the former Mount Assisi Convent complex at the intersection of Quaill and N. Balph Avenues. Our property sits at the confluence of Ross Township, West View Borough and Bellevue Borough in the North Hills and is still marked by the Mount Assisi Convent sign. Please come to the top of the driveway to our main entrance and parking area.

Where should I park and enter?
Ample parking is available at the top of our main driveway right outside our main entrance. A few handicap-accessible spaces are provided. Please enter through the double glass doors next to the Marian Hall sign. Let the receptionist on duty know you’re here for a tour.

What if I can’t make my scheduled tour?
No problem. But we do ask that you show us the common courtesy of letting us know. Just give us a call at 412-761-1999 or email our administrator at dott@mtassisiplace.com. You can always reschedule if you’d like.

What if I need an evening or weekend tour?
We generally host tours during regular weekday business hours. However, we understand that life is busy and can, upon special request, arrange for alternative times. Call us at 412-761-1999.
