The holiday season was nothing short of festive here at Mt. Assisi Place, where December 2022 was jam-packed with celebrations and activities, special guests, generous gifts, and a robust spirit of community among our Residents. The season was been enriched by so many things — dining tables decorated with lush poinsettias donated by John Marshall ... decorations lovingly hung by our maintenance team and friends ... each sparkling Christmas tree (including yet another one donated by Dave Hunkele) ... cozy new bedsheets donated by Patrick and Cindy McCullough and lap blankets by St. Mary's Quilters ... a chapel adorned with colorful flowers, courtesy of the Funk Family and the School Sisters of St. Francis ... generous gifts from Advanced Home Health and parishioners at Assumption BVM Church in Bellevue ... music to our ears, courtesy of Dave Pressau, Donna Zivic, the Assumption Church Children's Choir and carolers from Redeemer Anglican Church of the North Boroughs ... and scrumptious treats for our staff delivered by many families and friends!
