Truly a Treat
Halloween Parade Connects Residents & School Students
October 31, 2025 — Our Residents were delighted to interact with the students of The Saint Constantine School of Pittsburgh — home to some 130 students on our campus — when the youngsters trick-or-treated at Mt. Assisi Place on Halloween. With many dressed as their favorite saints, the children visited Marian Hall, where Residents were waiting outside their rooms and in the lounges with delicious treats and fun trinkets. Those who live in Antonia Hall also got in on the fun, gathering in the Marian Hall third-floor lounge to visit with the kids.
Many Residents, including Sister Barbara Ann Lengvarsky and Betty McGlaughlin, made the most of their time with the kids, asking them about their favorite classes and inquiring about their saint costumes. For their part, the kids were polite and warm, as they filled our halls with youthful excitement. It was truly a treat, as shown in the many photos below.
