A Sacred Summer Evening

August 6, 2026

What a wonderful evening it was on August 6 when we welcomed our friends from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish back to our hilltop for Pray & Picnic in the Park. After a brief late-afternoon rain shower, the skies cleared for worship with Father Leroy DiPietro and a delicious picnic-style meal lovingly prepared by the parish and its Appalachian mission group. We are so grateful for the efforts to make this event accessible to and enjoyable for our Residents and their family members. Special thanks also to Brandon Landscape for prepping our rear courtyard for the event. It was such a blessing to share this special evening with you.
